A Slice of Pai
Of all the places that I visited on my 5 month journey through Asia, Pai, Thailand stands right near the top of my list of favorites. This cozy little town tucked in a valley, and resting on the Pai River, has so much to offer travelers. With amazing food, interesting people, and plenty of sights and activities to keep you occupied, I found myself so comfortable here that I partially got sucked down the “Pai-hole” as the locals say. Having said that, I don’t think Pai is for everyone, and two people could have wildly different experiences here based on the what activities you engage in and the type of people you attract into your atmosphere. Luckily for me, serendipity happened to find one of my closest cousins and his girlfriend in Pai at literally the exact same time as me, consequently unleashing a series of events that I never could have foreseen. Alas though, rather than ramble on and storytell my Pai adventure, I figured I would let the images do the talking on this one! Enjoy!
Dubbed “the White House”, this stunning location is where I spent most of my time
